Pastoral Search Letter

Dear Pastor _______,

Thank you for taking the time to carefully and prayerfully consider the role of senior pastor of Grace Church. Our one and only objective through this search process is to identify the man God has preordained to serve as our new senior pastor.

Enclosed with this letter is a Candidate Survey we are asking each man to complete. We are also asking each man to send four consecutive weeks of sermons from the month of August, September or October.

Also enclosed is a packet of information about Grace Church. We have included a copy of our Grace 101 booklet, which is presented to all potential new members during our Grace 101 class, a copy of our 2000 Budget and a copy of our recent missions booklet.

Our intention as a pastoral search team is to narrow our field of potential candidates down to one candidate whom we believe God is leading us to extend a call. We will only pursue one candidate at a time.
