## 2023 Bible Study
- A year in [[Bible | the Bible]] study was completed using the "Behold" study from Daily Grace Co, which involved reading through the [[New Testament]] in a year, with a chapter a day from Monday to Friday, and a coordinating podcast episode [(00:00:49)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=49s).
- The study used the You app to track progress and the daily podcast featured Katie or Kristen discussing the readings [(00:00:57)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=57s).
- The "Behold" study book was also used, which covered Matthew through Luke and had a beautiful design with gold foil [(00:01:38)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=98s).
- The study was completed in a Dayspring Tindale New Living Translation Bible, which was chosen for its wide margin and ability to add notes [(00:02:09)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=129s).
- The Bible was used extensively throughout the year, with notes, sticky notes, prayers, and tears added to its pages [(00:03:24)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=204s).
- The Dayspring stickers from their sticker book were also used to add decoration and emphasis to the notes [(00:03:57)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=237s).
- The study created space for reflection and connection with [[God]], and [[Bible | the Bible]] became a testament to the work God did in life throughout the year [(00:03:21)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=201s).
## 2024 Bible Study
- A 2024 Bible study involved drawing down notes and getting through the entire Bible, which was accomplished by following a study plan [(00:04:11)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=251s).
## 2025 Bible Study
- For 2025, a new study plan is being followed, which is the "Christ in Awe of Scripture" study from Daily Grace Co, a 52-week journey of discovering [[Jesus]] on every page of [[Bible | the Bible]] [(00:04:37)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=277s).
- The study materials include a spiral-bound book with a waterproof cover, gold foil, and high-quality images [(00:04:52)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=292s).
- The study will be accompanied by a podcast, and the plan is to follow along with the podcast, use the U Version app to stay accountable, and complete the study work in a notebook [(00:05:41)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=341s).
- The study has a unique twist, with a 52-week journey of discovering Jesus on every page, and includes a table of contents, introduction, and weekly study plans [(00:06:13)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=373s).
- The study materials also include charts, maps, and resources for reading and studying the Bible, as well as an introduction to Christ and all of scripture [(00:06:42)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=402s).
- The study plan involves working through all four books of the study, one for each quarter, from January to December 31st [(00:07:16)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=436s).
- The study focuses on how each page of [[Bible | the Bible]] points to and ultimately finds its fulfillment in [[Jesus | Jesus Christ]] [(00:07:21)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=441s).
- A "cheat sheet" was created to help stay organized, which includes the week intro, [[Old Testament]] and [[New Testament]] passages, and a plan for marking up and annotating the passages [(00:07:49)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=469s).
- The weekly study plan involves reading through the week intro, passages, and marking them up, then going deeper to look at context and background [(00:08:18)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=498s).
- The study involves reading and annotating two passages, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament, with the goal of seeing Christ in all of scripture [(00:08:29)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=509s).
- The study is structured into five days: day one is reading and marking up the passages, day two is going deeper into context, day three is marking up the second passage, day four is making connections to Christ, and day five is live application [(00:08:40)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=520s).
- The goal of the study is not perfection, but growth in understanding God's word, and it encourages progressive growth in the ability to see Christ in all of scripture [(00:09:06)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=546s).
- The study is Christ-centered, focusing on [[Jesus]] as the main character of the story, and encourages application that is not moralistic, but rather begins with Christ and trusts in the sufficiency of his death and resurrection [(00:10:15)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=615s).
- The study provides examples of annotation and tips for annotating a passage, and allows individuals to use their own style [(00:09:36)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=576s).
- The study includes a Christ-centered application section that provides guidance on how to live out the scripture in a way that is centered on Christ [(00:10:01)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=601s).
- Week one of the study is prep work, and includes an introduction, two passages, and space for annotation and notes [(00:10:50)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=650s).
- The study encourages individuals to work through each passage and do the work themselves, rather than just reading through [[Bible | the Bible]] [(00:11:33)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=693s).
- The study provides questions and commentary to help individuals dig deeper into the scripture and understand the context [(00:11:17)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=677s).
- The daily Bible reading plan involves reading scripture repetitively, which helps with memorization and understanding, with space for annotation, commentary, and writing out questions to dig deeper [(00:12:27)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=747s).
- The plan includes a Christ-centered application section on Fridays, with Saturdays and Sundays left for reflection and catching up on missed days [(00:12:47)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=767s).
- The plan is considered doable, with Monday to Friday readings and weekends for reflection and rest, making it easy to stay on track [(00:13:21)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=801s).
- The plan includes annotation and application sections, which are exciting features for digging deeper into Christ and scripture [(00:13:32)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=812s).
- [[Bible | The Bible]] reading plan is part of the "Christ and All of Scripture" series, which may be available through Daily Grace Co, with an affiliate link provided by a partner, DNA [(00:14:08)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=848s).
- The plan is designed to help readers stay in the word of [[God]], with the goal of reading the Bible in a year, and sharing the experience with others [(00:14:43)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsOmc7965I&t=883s).
