We tell them don't touch something and they look over at you and they're like, they go to touch it. And you're like, you know what you're doing is wrong and you're choosing to do it. Or if they did touch something that, you know, they're not supposed to be touching, they look over you with that guilty face. Transcript: Nate I think that gives a real clarity into why every single human being needs repentance. Luke Yes, because the first thing Jesus said if you want to be his disciple is you're going to have to deny self. You cannot just continue living a self-driven lifestyle and follow Jesus. Right. So, yes, you're going to have to repent if you want to follow Jesus. And this concept is further explained by Paul in Galatians 5. And I mean, I used this verse, this passage, Galatians 5, 16, through the end of the chapter there. I basically use that in a lot in counseling, in my interviews with guys coming to the program, because it's just so helpful. It's very applicable. It's just real life scripture. I love verses that are just raw. Yeah. And basically he starts off by saying, if you're living your life in obedience to the Holy Spirit, you're not going to fulfill the lusts and the desires of your flesh. Okay. Okay, that's Galatians 5.16, right? But then he goes on to explain that there's a battle that's raging inside of you. You have your flesh or you have the spirit.
